When I tell people about all the great wonders that are Chalk Couture, I often get asked about the option to personalize their projects. Whether it be that they have a particular saying in mind, or if they are just wanting to avoid having the same exact thing as their neighbor, I definitely understand. Some transfers allow you to easily create multiple versions without the work of chalking each individual letter.
This one for example is a B sized transfer called Keep It Simple. This morning I sat down and within 15 minutes created two different pieces with it. Each one has it's own personality. I love how making a change in surface and paste color can completely transform the style that a transfer has. One looks like it belongs in a farmhouse, and the other could easily be used in a teen's bedroom.
I really love how they both turned out! The piece done on our 9x12 Silvie board features three different paste colors (one of which is my NEW favorite - griege!) and would work well in my kitchen if I had just a bit more wall space to display it! The piece done on the 10" white round looks simple, yet classy, and I think it would look great hanging up in my room or office space. Which version do you like best? Where would you display it in your home? Let me know! I always love hearing feedback from you guys!
